Harold Meyerson was named as one of Atlantic Monthly’s 50 Most Influential Columnists on Sept. 16, 2009 when the magazine released its Top 50 list. Calling it “its all-star team,” Atlantic Monthly’s Top 50 are the most influential commentators in the nation, the columnists and bloggers and broadcast pundits who shape the national debates. To compile the list, the Atlantic Monthly team spent months collecting and analyzing data, tracking a group of 400 names that eventually became their Top 50. These are the personalities and ideas driving the national debate and Harold Meyerson is honored to be in their midst.
